This Code of Conduct outlines our expectations to ensure that everyone can enjoy a welcoming, fair, and supportive experience.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>By visiting or&nbsp;participating&nbsp;in Red Shed programs or events, you agree to uphold these standards<\/span><span>.&nbsp;<\/span><span>This Code of Conduct&nbsp;also&nbsp;forms part of the Red Shedder Agreement and associated terms and policies.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Scope<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>This Code applies to all individuals involved in any Red Shed activity, including but not limited to:&nbsp;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Staff, volunteers, and&nbsp;contractors;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Program participants and&nbsp;members;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Visitors, spectators, and event&nbsp;attendees;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Volunteers and community&nbsp;partners;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Any interactions associated with Red Shed online or in person.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>It applies to all Red Shed sites and venues, external events, partner locations, and online communications.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>General Standards of&nbsp;Behaviour<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>All individuals are expected to:<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Act honestly and with integrity and&nbsp;diligence;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Treat others with respect, courtesy, and honesty&nbsp;at all&nbsp;times;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Promote an inclusive, diverse, and&nbsp;equitable&nbsp;environment free of discrimination or&nbsp;harassment;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Protect the integrity and reputation of Red&nbsp;Shed;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Comply with&nbsp;all applicable Red Shed policies and&nbsp;procedures;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Follow lawful and reasonable directions issued by Red Shed staff or authorised&nbsp;personnel;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Use Red Shed resources and facilities properly and only for their intended&nbsp;purposes;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Help ensure a physically and emotionally safe environment for&nbsp;all;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Communicate&nbsp;truthfully;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Avoid using one\u2019s involvement with Red Shed for personal advantage.<\/span><span>\u202f<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Abandonment of Participation<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Where an individual&nbsp;fails to&nbsp;attend scheduled activities without notification, Red Shed may&nbsp;treat&nbsp;this as an abandonment of participation. This may result in:<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Removal from the program or&nbsp;activity;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>No refund or credit, subject to Red Shed\u2019s cancellation and refund&nbsp;policy;\u202f<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Further follow-up for safety and welfare, particularly where children or vulnerable individuals are involved.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Ethics and Conduct<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Act with honesty, fairness, and good&nbsp;judgment;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Avoid conduct that may bring Red Shed into disrepute or legal liability, or cause harm or discomfort to&nbsp;others;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Raise any serious concerns with a Red Shed staff member or designated contact.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Dress Code<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>All individuals must dress appropriately and respectfully for the activities in which they are participating.&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;<br><span>Clothing should:<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Allow safe movement and&nbsp;participation;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Be inclusive and not&nbsp;offensive;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Follow any program-specific dress expectations, as advised in the welcome email.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Time and Attendance<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Be punctual and prepared for scheduled&nbsp;activities;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Understand that repeated lateness may affect your ability to&nbsp;participate&nbsp;in future programs.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Privacy and Information Handling<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Respect the privacy of others and handle information with&nbsp;care;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Do not share personal details or sensitive content without&nbsp;permission;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Follow Red Shed privacy procedures.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Mobile Phones and Devices<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Use devices only when&nbsp;appropriate&nbsp;and not disruptive to&nbsp;others;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Do not access or share inappropriate&nbsp;content;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Follow any device&nbsp;use&nbsp;guidelines shared by staff.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Smoking, Alcohol and Drugs<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Smoking is not&nbsp;permitted&nbsp;on Red Shed premises or during Red Shed-led activities at any&nbsp;time;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Alcohol is not&nbsp;permitted&nbsp;unless&nbsp;part&nbsp;of a Red Shed-authorised&nbsp;and licensed&nbsp;event;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Drug use (including recreational or non-prescribed&nbsp;substances) is not&nbsp;permitted&nbsp;at any&nbsp;time;\u202f<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Do not attend activities while under the influence of drugs or alcohol.\u202f<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Use of Facilities and Equipment<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Treat all Red Shed spaces and items with&nbsp;care;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Report any damage or safety issues&nbsp;promptly;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Return borrowed items after use and leave shared spaces clean<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Breach of Policy<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Any concerns or breaches can be reported to a Red Shed staff member or emailed to&nbsp;<\/span><a href=\"mailto:codeofconduct@redshed.org.au\"><span>codeofconduct@redshed.org.au<\/span><\/a><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Breaches may result in:<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Warnings or education around&nbsp;expectations;\u202f<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Removal from activities or&nbsp;events;<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span>Referral to&nbsp;appropriate authorities&nbsp;where necessary.<\/span><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><b><span>Policy Updates<\/span><\/b><span>&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span>Red Shed may update this Code of Conduct from time to time.
