We exist to use rowing, movement and community as tools for positive change in Canberra, breaking down the barriers that keep people off the water and out of good health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pennant wp-block-heading\">Our mission, in three parts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Rowing for All.<\/strong> Breaking down socioeconomic and physical barriers to make rowing accessible, through adaptive programs, youth scholarships and learn-to-row opportunities.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Inspiring Wellness.<\/strong> A strength gym, recovery spaces and wellbeing hubs that support physical and mental health.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Fostering Community.<\/strong> A gathering place, with a cafe, event spaces and volunteer programs, where anyone can belong.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pennant wp-block-heading\">Our values<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n\n<li><strong>Community<\/strong>: we&#8217;re better together, and everyone is welcome.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Commitment<\/strong>: we show up, for our people and our mission.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Opportunity<\/strong>: we open doors that were closed, and create pathways that last.<\/li>\n\n\n<li><strong>Fun<\/strong>: because the best things in life feel good.<\/li>\n\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"pennant wp-block-heading\">Not for profit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Red Shed is a not-for-profit built to make rowing, movement and wellbeing possible for everyone. We&#8217;re funded by program fees, Easy Oar, Telopea Room functions and the generosity of donors, and every contribution keeps the shed open to all.
