To successfully achieve the "Rowing for All" mission, Red Shed has invested in appropriate facilities, equipment, and personnel. To support this, we deliver the following:
Facilities
a.
Large, accessible boathouse with ample storage space for boats and equipment.
b.
Accessible and inclusive locker rooms, toilets, and showers to accommodate individuals of all abilities and gender identities.
c.
Functional workout area with rowing machines and strength-training equipment, suitable for both individual and group training.
d.
Welcoming community space for members to socialise, attend workshops, and participate in club events.
EQUIPMENT
a.
Diverse range of boats, including singles, doubles, quads, and eights as well as training barges, to accommodate various skill levels and rowing preferences.
b.
Adaptive equipment for individuals with disabilities, such as fixed seats, pontoons, and specialised oars.
c.
Safety gear, including life jackets and first aid kits.
d.
Essential maintenance tools and equipment to ensure proper care and upkeep of boats and facilities.
PERSONNEL
a.
Experienced coaches who can support rowers of all skill levels and abilities, including adaptive rowing.
b.
Diverse group of volunteers to assist with coaching, equipment management, and event organisation.
c.
Partner schools, community groups, and organisations to identify potential partnerships and opportunities for outreach.
d.
Mentorship program connecting experienced rowers with newcomers to provide guidance and support.
