Acknowledgment of country
Red Shed acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands upon which its facilities and activities are situated, specifically the Ngunnawal people of the ACT. We also recognise any other people or families with connections to the lands of the ACT, including the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, the people of the Yugambeh Nation, and the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation. We extend this acknowledgment to all Traditional Custodians of the ACT land and pay our respects to all Elders, past and present.
The Red Shed recognises the outstanding contribution that Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make to society and sport in Australia and celebrates the power of sport to promote reconciliation and reduce inequality.
