A fun, active week on the lake, no experience needed. Each program is a fixed-length program with a single fee. Places are limited and often fill early.
Learn to Row
- 9am to 12pm
- Never rowed before, start here
- On the water from day one, with coaching pitched at first-timers
- No experience needed
Continue to Row
- 9am to 12pm
- For rowers who have done a program before and want to keep building
- Technique and time in the boat across the week
- Runs alongside Learn to Row, in its own stream
Elite
- 6am to 8am, on the water
- For experienced youth rowers with three or more seasons
- Also for athletes training in the Youth Elite winter program
- Early starts before the day warms up
Who it’s for, and what to know
Good to know
- Open to school students in years 7 to 12
- Swim prerequisite: rowers must be able to swim 50 metres fully clothed, for their safety on the water
- Sessions run for a fixed block each day (for example, 9am to 12pm), every weekday of the school holidays except public holidays
- Please collect within 15 minutes of the session ending. A late fee of $15 per 15 minutes applies after that
- Experience-based streams, so first-timers and returning rowers each get coaching pitched at the right level
