Youth Elite is high-performance training for selected athletes. Expect expert coaching, structured training and a driven squad environment alongside rowers chasing the same thing.
The Elite program follows the school winter terms (2 and 3), and athletes are selected for the winter program through an application process. We also run an elite school holiday program, which you can find on our school holiday programs page.
How to be considered
Places are limited and athletes apply for each winter season. Applications are assessed by our coaches, usually alongside a testing day or a coach’s recommendation. Register your interest and we will be in touch when the next season is being selected.

The Red Shed Scholarship
Red Shed offers scholarships to selected young rowers in the pathway, covering some or all of a rower’s program costs. They are funded by donations and are not an open application, recipients are selected through the pathway.
